Sparring Drills

Shoulder and Thigh Tag
-Try to tag each other's shoulder or thigh. Good for beginners as it helps improve timing and distance without fear of getting hurt.

Offense vs Defense
-One person all offense the other all defense. Primarily geared to help the defender work on defensive techniques.

Strike Counter
-One person throws a predetermined single strike and the other person counters.
-One person throws a predetermined two strike combo and the other person counters.

Taking Turns/Counter for Counter
One for One
-Take turns throwing a single strike
Two for Two
-Take turns throwing a two strike combo
Etc.

Isolation Sparring
-Each person is assigned a single or limited set of attacks.
Examples:
-Jab vs Jab
-Jab & Teep vs Everything
-Hands vs Feet

Southpaw vs Orthodox 
-One person in southpaw, the other in orthodox.
